No one pays more attention to the construction and architecture-like detail to clothing more than Japanese designers. I was truly in awe by the beauty of how the fabrics were literally re-invented to support their dream designs. Japanese designers tend to work closely with the textile manufacturer to create man-made innovative fabrics to hold the shape of the styles they wish to construct. My favorites by far were the designs by Yohji Yamamoto all very modern with a tendency to lean towards edgy looks.
