Pacsafe – The reliable travel bag

{My creative soul at work}

This year I’ve done a lot of traveling and wish that one of Pacsafe’s Citysafe CX bags could have been with me to carry all my belongings. This is so needed now because it’s hard to even feel safe in places you frequent. With all the craziness going on in life, it’s nice to have products you can rely on.

A few months ago on a weeknight here in the city of Seattle, I went out with a couple friends to Capitol Hill for drinks. I left my bag on the seat next to me where I thought it would be safe. The night was pretty quiet, not a busy night. None of us really saw anyone come by but someone managed to slip my wallet out of my handbag without any of us noticing. It wasn’t until the end of the night when I got the check that I that I realized my wallet was gone. If it were zipped into one of the Pacsafe bags, we probably could’ve even caught the burglar because I would’ve connected the bag to the chair and the person would of pulled me with it! Could you imagine that scenario?

It was surprising to learn that Pacsafe had been around for over 20 years. I had only heard of them recently because they launched their new Citysafe Collective that is catered to us fashionistas. The handbags are made for ladies and gentlemen who want a stylish option to take along with them on their city adventures and world travels.

How your Citysafe Collective bag will protect everything you’ve got:

  • Pickpocketers won’t be able to get in. There are subtle clips and tabs to keep keep zippers together
  • Your card information will be secure with RFIDsafe pockets that protect your cards from being scanned by outside sources.
  • If anyone tries to slash off the straps or cut into the bag, the eXomesh lining will guard against it and keep your contents safe.

There’s so much more to the bags but it takes touching it and seeing it in person to really see everything it’s capable of doing. The Citysafe team came up from California to meet share the new collection with us at Bar Melusine. The setting was the perfect kind of escape from the city into the French Atlantic with sea green tones and a bright, happy atmosphere. At the end of our handbag convo, we got to learn a few tips to creating Instagram-friendly photos with a flat lay workshop by photographer Daniell Motif. I had so much fun playing with all the props and putting together my story through photos. Getting lost in this kind of creativity is vital to my soul.
