Basket-like handbags are a thing, and they have become a staple for a chic summer look. It’s lightweight and there are options in many shapes and designs to choose from but this one can go with you everywhere. I love dressing up basics with some sparkle, especially for a rooftop gathering. Kate Spade makes a great two tone earring that is perfect for any denim lover. To keep the denim theme going, I also chose a light colored denim wedge that is just the perfect height for socializing all day. Vis Seattle offers some modern neutrals that are easy to wear, this cami is the perfect length for the high waist midi wrap skirt, no need to tuck in or think about what to do with the top. It’s just the right length.

White denim is an easy go-to summer basic. If you’re scrambling last minute to get your outfit, use a piece from your closet and build up from there. If you’re unsure about trying white denim, here’s a little secret get a pair made of thicker fabric, that isn’t completely skin tight. The navy and white polka dot top by Lika Love is super light weight and a flattering waist cinching piece that you can wear again and again. Here, you’ve got to finish the look with red shoes and necklace. The Serefina mixed media necklace is a beautiful mix of earthy texture and shine.

First of all, outdoor anything for hours requires the right shoe. This J. Crew slip on is perfectly comfortable and uniquely fun. I haven’t seen this style anywhere, the criss-cross, stripe laces really make this whole outfit complete, it’s flag matching color combo. The ruffle red dress has a small white floral print that pairs well with white tassel earrings. Seriously, if you want to add fun to any outfit, tassel earrings or big fringe statement accessories are the way to go and J Crew has multiple options. Of course, it’s topped off with a jean jacket because you never know what the weather will be like later in the evening, be prepared.
